Adwisery experts have started providing UAB “Klaipėdos Konteinerių Terminalas” with services to support its preparation for the implementation of PETA cybersecurity requirements and, together with partners, will conduct a cybersecurity audit in accordance with PETA requirements, as well as assist in preparing and submitting the security declaration.
* Abbreviations and explanations
- Regulation (EU) 2019/941 – Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on risk-preparedness in the electricity sector. It establishes common requirements for Member States, transmission system operators, and regulatory authorities to ensure the security of electricity supply. The Regulation obliges stakeholders to carry out risk assessments, prepare action plans for potential supply disruptions, and coordinate the preparedness of Member States for emergency situations in the energy sector.
- Law on Energy of the Republic of Lithuania – A national law regulating the governance, development, and supervision of the energy sector. The Law sets out the procedures for the use of energy resources, energy production, supply, transmission, distribution, and consumption, as well as the obligations of energy entities to ensure energy security, reliability, and compliance with cybersecurity requirements.

During the project, the experts will:
- analyse the cybersecurity requirements set out in the Energy Law;
- prepare and coordinate drafts of the organisation’s internal regulations (policies and procedures) governing information security and cybersecurity management;
- perform a supplier risk assessment in accordance with PETA provisions;
- conduct a compliance assessment against the requirements of the Energy Law and its implementing legislation (PETA);
- perform a cybersecurity audit of the Management System to assess the implementation of the technical controls required under PETA.
Purpose:
- Properly prepare for the cybersecurity requirements of EU Regulation 2019/941 and the Energy Law;
- Prepare a cybersecurity report;
- Complete the security declaration.
