Adwisery experts, together with their partners, will assist UAB “Ventus primus” in achieving compliance with the cybersecurity requirements established under the Energy Law and will conduct a cybersecurity audit in accordance with PETA requirements.
* Abbreviations and explanations
- Regulation (EU) 2019/941 – Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council on risk-preparedness in the electricity sector. It establishes common requirements for Member States, transmission system operators, and regulatory authorities to ensure the security of electricity supply. The Regulation obliges stakeholders to carry out risk assessments, prepare action plans for potential supply disruptions, and coordinate the preparedness of Member States for emergency situations in the energy sector.
- Law on Energy of the Republic of Lithuania – A national law regulating the governance, development, and supervision of the energy sector. The Law sets out the procedures for the use of energy resources, energy production, supply, transmission, distribution, and consumption, as well as the obligations of energy entities to ensure energy security, reliability, and compliance with cybersecurity requirements.
- GA GAP analysis is carried out to identify the current situation and the desired future state, and then determine the difference between them, highlighting what is missing to achieve the desired state.
- PETA – Rules for the Use of Electricity Networks.
During the project, experts will:
- Perform an analysis of the cybersecurity requirements set out in the Energy Law and prepare and align internal documents governing information and cybersecurity management within the organization;
- Will assess the organization’s compliance with the requirements set out in the Energy Law, its implementing legislation, and the Rules for the Use of Electricity Networks (PETA);
- Perform a technical audit of the management system and assess its compliance with the technical cybersecurity control measures specified in PETA.
Purpose:
- Properly prepare for the cybersecurity requirements of EU Regulation 2019/941 and the Energy Law;
- Prepare a cybersecurity report;
- Complete the security declaration.
